Technology Saves Time and Money

At REDCON, we have established our company as an innovative and high quality partner for surveying projects. To provide the most accurate and cost-effective process to our clients, we use the best and latest technology available both in the field and in our office. Our equipment and software includes:

Trimble GPS Rovers, 5800 series, VRS and CORS
We utilize the State of Utah AGRC VRS (Virtual Reference Station) solution to perform survey grade mapping and construction services. The utilization of the VRS increases our field productivity by allowing the use of multiple GPS rovers with an extended range of operation.  When the VRS is not available we have the capability to set up our own UHF base station to achieve corrected positions.

Trimble S6 Robotic Total Stations 1 sec., 3 sec. and 5 sec. Class
With a robotic total station, one surveyor is able to conduct a land survey using a remote control rather than depend upon an assistant. This allows REDCON to save our clients money and schedule projects quickly to meet any deadline.

Leica C10 Scanner – High Definition 3D Laser Scanner
The state-of-the-art technology in this high definition 3-dimention scanner produces the most accurate, detailed renderings of a structure or location up to 100 times faster than using conventional methods.

TOPCON DL-503 Digital Level
This digital differential level is designed to generate fast and accurate elevation determinations at any job site.

Software: AutoDesk Civil 3D – 2013, MicroStation V8i / InRoads, Trimble Terramodel, Trimble Business Center, Leica Cyclone and Cloudworx
With the latest software packages, we are able to transform accurate survey data into detailed high-quality documentation.

Field Software: Trimble Survey Controller, Trimble Access, SCS900
This software accelerates data collection, stakeout and in-field data analysis. We have the capability to transfer and email data from the field to streamline the data capture process.
